Constipation

Constipation? Abdominal Bloating?

Researchers are evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for constipation with abdominal bloating.

You may qualifly for this clinical research study if you are experieincing any of the following symptoms:

- fewer than 3 bowel movements per week
- lumpy or hard stools, straining , or a sensation of incomplete evacuation during bowel movements
- abdominal bloating due to chronic constipation

If you qualify, study -related care will be provided at no cost. Insurance is not needed. Participation includes up to 7 vists to the study center.

COPD

COUGHING, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, WHEEZING, YEARS OF SMOKING?

Chronic bronchitis or emphysema - also known as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), is a lung disease that makes it hard to breathe and gets worse over time.
COPD is most often caused by cigarette smoking.

Although there is currently no cure for COPD, research is being conducted to find potential treatments to help prevent and control symptoms. A worldwide reserach study is now underway to test an investigational teatment for COPD.

Who is eligible to particpate in this study?

You may be able to participate if you:
- Are 40 years and older
- Have a history of diagnosis of COPD
- Are a current smoker or were a smoker in the past.

Depression

Suffering from depression?

A Clinical Reserach Study for an investigational medication is currently enrolling people who

- Are currently taking an antidepressant but still experience symptoms

OR
- Have depression, but are not taking any antidepressant medications

What is Involved?
- Receive study medication and study-related medical care at no cost
- Receive study-related care by doctors who are currently studying depression
- Take an active role in your own healthcare

Minimun Qualificaitons:
- An adult between 18 (or age of majority) and 65 years old
- Currently experiencing symptoms of depression
- Willing to take the study medicaiton along with a prescribed antidepressant medication

The study doctor can tell you if you meet all of the study eligibility requrirements.

Compnesation for travel may also be preovided

Do you have type 2 Diabetes?

Do you have difficulty in controlling your blood sugar levels on you current antidiabetic medication?

IF the answer is yes, and you are 18 years of age or older, your might be suitable to participate in a clinical research study. This study will look at whether invesigational medicine is safe and effective in people with Type 2 diabetes and are taking metformin treatment, but whose blood sugar levels are not effectively controlled.

The study will last for about 118 weeks, and will involve approximately 23 visits to a study center.Suitable participants will receive study related medication and health assessments at no cost..
